this is a whispery post because too much has been said about this one thing so just think of it as like, were at lunch and im just rattling this off. i feel like what is so hypnotizing about the show is that there is a purity of purpose. snookie genuinely wants to find a bro to love her and the situation, while down to get laid, actually wants to wife a broad. then there’s the other ones and they all engage in the same set of rules of a sub culture. they embrace it. i believe they are sincere in their quest for dick/love. this is what makes the show compelling. with the real world/hills/beaches etc it all feels like there’s some bizzare agenda. and while Snooks and Sitch wouldn’t mind getting famous, obvs, i also feel like they are on a quest for for actual matehood. which like, awww.
