An informal straw poll has indicated that three people understand the reference. I am okay with that.

Hustle is back for its sixth series, and it’s arguably better than ever. The cast changes in series five have turned out to be a fantastic thing.
It’s Leverage, but actually pleasant and enjoyable, without some contrived plot twist (I mean, really, the morally corrupt helping the helpless?) and with an inverted accent ratio. Plus lots of pretty clothes!
(Really though! Leverage is a cheap imitation of Hustle designed to be somehow more palatable to American audiences. AMC aired Hustle’s first four seasons series but I think they didn’t catch on, which I don’t understand AT ALL, because there is an American cultural tenant that British accents make moral ambiguity and non-violent crimes okay, and also Americans are mostly unable to make slick and glossy entertainment because they are afraid of being offensive.)
Pretty clothes and pretty people being pretty! With pretty accents. PRETTY PRETTY PRETTY. (!!!)
