This clip, which was (fortunately) cut from the season finale of Kell on Earth is right now like my favorite thing ever (at least for the next few minutes). Essentially, it is nothing but a marketing pitch by Peoples Revolution for a fashion industry enterprise/contact relationship management system, which was edited together from the Fashion GPS pitch to get Peoples Revolution to buy-in.

Which is just so entirely meta.

And also, you can just taste the synergy. Fundamentally, Kell on Earth was nothing more than another platform for Kelly Cutrone to market her clients and herself, which is really not a groundbreaking observation to make after eight weeks, but was never quite as blatantly obvious until she briefly started squawking about how fantastic Fashion GPS was before lighting a bowl full of rocks on fire. (Also, the edited chronology on this show was particularly obvious and bad, even for reality-based docu-drama genre.)

And I totally love it. But I can’t imagine that Kell on Earth’s target demographic has a similar fascination with information systems or business processes. So that was a little weird, and probably why they cut this.
